18 | WATERLINE March 2025 MARINAS26 MARINAS26 EXHIBITION SPACE NOW OPEN FOR MIA MEMBERS The Marina Industries Association (MIA) Marinas26 International Conference & Trade Exhibition is gearing up to be the must-attend event for marina professionals across the Asia-Pacific, and MIA members can now secure their exhibition space. The event, taking place 25–26 May 2026 at the Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, Queensland attracts a global audience of marina owners, operators, and industry suppliers. The Marinas24 Conference, welcomed 384 delegates from 14 countries, representing 279 marinas, cementing its status as a key gathering for industry. Marinas26 offers attendees a valuable opportunity to connect with leading industry suppliers, explore the latest products and innovations, and build relationships with marina professionals from across the region. In addition to networking, delegates gain insights into emerging trends and industry developments, ensuring they stay informed about the latest advancements shaping the future of the marina sector. 75% of exhibition space has already sold and 80% of sponsorship opportunities are taken, so exhibitors are encouraged to secure their spots early. MIA sponsors and past exhibitors were given the first opportunity to select booths and sponsorships, and now all MIA members have the chance to book their preferred exhibition space. The Exhibitor Prospectus and Exhibition Floor Plan are available at marinas26.com. MIA President, Andrew Chapman highlighted the significance of the timing, “Marinas26 remains strategically timed to follow the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, so delegates can enjoy a day or two at the show ahead of the conference.” The event will begin with a Welcome Reception on Sunday 24 May, followed by two full days of conference sessions and exhibitions on 25–26 May, concluding with a Gala Dinner. A Study Tour on Wednesday 27 May will offer attendees the chance to explore new marina developments. MIA CEO, Suzanne Davies emphasised the importance of selecting the right venue for the event’s expansion, “Marinas24 was such a huge success, and while we considered repeating it, we want to ensure delegates have a fresh experience. Few venues in the country can now accommodate our event due to the growing size of our trade exhibition, but Royal Pines Resort will allow us to expand while keeping the event intimate and engaging.” Given the record number of exhibitors at Marinas24, the MIA announced the Marinas26 venue early to allow businesses to plan ahead. “It is important to get this information to market quickly so those wishing to attend and exhibit can confidently plan their attendance,” Davies added. A DESTINATION FOR BUSINESS AND LEISURE The Royal Pines Resort provides an ideal setting for business and relaxation. Delegates and their families can take advantage of the Gold Coast’s pristine beaches, theme parks, and nature reserves, while the resort itself offers a championship golf course, tennis courts, swimming pools, and a luxurious day spa.
