14 Lew Pulbrook returns to South America Lew Pulbrook in the Amazon Wyong tour operator Lew Pulbrook, who was a pioneer in Latin America travel and operated his own tour and travel business throughout South America for twenty years before selling out in 2005 has launched a new tour business specialising in the part of the world he knows so well. Having maintained good friendships with the hotels and service suppliers in South America and still recognised as one of the world’s experts on Latin America travel he has set up Amigos Travel. Amigos Travel can arrange travel ser- vices anywhere in South America, Central America, Cuba and also represents one of the best “ice-class” small cruise ships operat- ing in the Antarctic. Both business, leisure and sporting travel can be arranged for individuals, families or small groups at any time of the year. A special family/teenage friendly fully escorted South American tour is also conducted during the September school holidays each year. Meanwhile, he will continue operating his coffee roasting and distribution business selling coffee he obtains from his South American suppliers to coffee lovers and selected cafes. In particular the judging panel were impressed by the way in which the management team at Trehy Ingold Neate were dedicated to personal and company development, implementing a business management system which ensures quality outcomes for the client.’ Understanding the dedication and ser- vice provided by her team, Kellie Hassab, Director, Surveyor and Registered Planner, in accepting the award said that ‘the team behind Trehy Ingold Neate is our most valu- able asset.
