11 WORK IS NOW well underway on the 2nd Stage of RetireAustralia’s $46 million boutique apartment project in Karalta Road, Erina. Local builder, Stevens Construction were appointed builders for the project complet- ing Stage 1 in early 2021 and commenced construction on Stage 2 in early September. The Rise at Wood Glen comprises 58 purpose-built two and three bedroom independent living apartments. Stage 1 features a collection of 24 resi- dences with Stage 2 of the project set to release a further 34 residences in 2022. The Rise at Wood Glen is the Central Coast’s first luxury vertical retirement vil- lage, a striking addition to the popular Wood Glen Retirement Village. This development caters to the region’s increasing demand for sophisticated, pre- mium housing options tailored for later life. Every apartment within The Rise has been designed for a low-maintenance lifestyle and optimised for ease of living and mobility. They showcase contempo- rary lines, floor-to-ceiling glass, a generous kitchen and dining space, high-quality finishes and expansive balconies that open to sweeping valley views of the Kincumba Mountain Reserve. Designed by leading seniors living archi- tects Marchese Partners, apartment prices range from $600,000 with penthouses closer to $1M. Commenting on the project Stevens Construction Director, Steve Mailey said, “Stage one started around May 19 and was completed in September 2020. Stage two was started early September 2021 with a projected completion date around November 2022.” RetireAustralia investing $46 million at The Rise at Wood Glen Erina NEW PATIENTS Comprehensive checkup & clean Includes up to 5 x-rays No Gap (with health insurance) or $290 OFFERS (all patients) Free orthodontic consultation Free dental implant consultation Free cosmetic makeover consultation FINANCE We bulk bill the Medicare CDBS Zip Pay & Zip Money payment plans We partner with SuperCare General Dentistry | Emergency Care | Cosmetic Dentistry Orthodontics & Invisalign | Sleep Dentistry IV Sedation | Oral Surgery Wisdom Teeth Removal | Dental Implants | 3D CT Scanning 02 4323 1933 | www.vcdental.com.au Suite 10, 36-40 Victoria Street, East Gosford NSW 2250 OPEN 7 DAYS 40 YEARS LOCAL “Stage 2 is expected to average around 45 to 55 subcontractors and peaking higher at times. B U S I N E S S N E W S “Beerfarm will create a farm style, rural space for local people and families to enjoy. We look forward to collaborating with a diverse range of local businesses and produc- ers in a sustainable way,”Mr Thomason said. “We chose the Halloran site because Warnervale is a young and growing area with no leisure facilities close by. Additionally, it is just off the Expressway and close to Sydney and Newcastle. “We think of a brewery as a ‘community asset’ so we aim to build and create an exceptional venue and product range that the Central Coast will be proud of. Furthermore we want the people of the Central Coast to embrace it and call it their own. Challenges ahead Beerfarm lodged their development appli- cation with Central Coast Council over six months ago . “We thought there would be no difficulties as the land is part of the Warnervale Employment Zone which was zoned Industrial almost 20 years ago. The company is ready to move and it will employ 47 people. “While we wait for Council the com- munity is getting right behind us,” Mr Thomason said.
