Prayer Amen ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me… to let the oppressed go free.’ Holy Father, it seems humans can’t resist ‘the pointing of the finger’. Playground and office bullies, domestic and corporate abusers, power hungry leaders exploiting the powerless: refugees, disabled, indigenous, unemployed… Grant us eyes to see this evil and courage to challenge it. May we bend our hearts and minds to what you want of us: ‘To do justice, to love mercy and walk humbly with You, our God.’ 91
