Terry & Marian Sargant | 18 Forster Street West Ryde “We began our journey when we met Kathleen at an open house. Her ‘toolbox of contacts’ included a number of useful people, amongst them Robin Butterfield from M&G Australia Wide removals and Amanda Bei Bei Li, from Uplift Interiors. Kathleen recommended we start with Robin who helped us through the decluttering process, secured a a storage space at discounted rate for 3 months and even found a new home for our piano. Next was Amanda from Uplift Interiors who was willing to do whatever it took to present our property in its best light. The introduction of artwork, pillows, cushions and throws gave it a pop of colour and personality. The garden was manicured and the windows cleaned. We were ready for photos! We were on the market on the 6th of September, our auction was scheduled for October 9 and we settled and moved into our new home on the 9th of November — that’s 10 weeks in total. After 42 years of living in the same home and raising a family, we took one giant step to sell and move on. The care, guidance and support given during this normally difficult process was amazing. The difficulty was making our decision to agree on a price in a down turning market. This difficulty was guided by Kathleen, and we would never have made that decision if it wasn’t for her untiring efforts to support and go above and beyond what we believe her brief was. She also attended open homes on our behalf to help us find a new home, and advised us how to go about the process of making a bid, etc. This led to not only the sale of our home, but finding a wonderful home in which to make new memories.”
