Why downsize? For Robert and I, the idea to move into something smaller with less maintenance came about nearly three years before we finally felt ready to take the plunge. Then an operation and an accident left the both of us in a situation (for the first time ever) that neither of us could drive a car for several months. It was time for us to move.
