Fun facts. Belle Property Berry exclusive art exhibition & charity fundraiser. On Thursday 26th May 2022, Belle Property Berry hosted an exclusive art exhibition and charity fundraiser. Over 90 people were in attendance and participated in the evening, which was a huge success. Berry’s very own local artist, Alexandra Strong, displayed several beautiful pieces, combining her abstract floral artwork with her more recent still life artwork, inspired by her natural surroundings from the lush rolling hills to the delicate rock pools founds across our dramatic coastline in which she in spent her whole life. Not only was the evening to showcase Alexandra’s talent, but it was to raise funds for KYDS. KYDS is a foundation that provides FREE counselling services for young people navigating challenging times in their lives. Guest speaker Kathy Kelly spoke on night about the importance of the KYDS foundation and the free service they provide. Kathy tells an incredibly powerful story of how she turned grief, into anger into determination. Kathy is focused on developing leading programs to reduce teenage suicide and focuses her time on positive community contribution through four key platforms: Advocacy | Prevention | Education | Kindness A silent auction was held to assist in the fundraising. Several local businesses kindly donated goods and services to be auctioned off on the night. In conjunction with the auction funds and a generous portion of donated sale funds from Alexandra, $4,300.00 was raised on the night and was donated directly to KYDS. This amount will provide 28 free counselling sessions to young people. Sending a big thank you to all those involved in ensuring the night was a success.
