The good news is that we have adapted successfully and are still selling and leasing property for our clients. In fact, our two offices in Hunters Hill and Lane Cove combined sold 33 properties and leased 40 properties in March. This will pass, just like SARS and other viruses have done before. Private appointments due to Coronavirus reminds me of my early days in the 1990’s when we took buyers in our cars to look at properties, we had a price on them, negotiated and put a deal together. One-on-one buyer appointments are a very effective way of selling property, it will give us a chance to provide a much more personalised service to buyers. Virtual tours and inspections conducted via Livestream will be the first step for most buyers before scheduling an appointment.Virtual tours will increase in popularity as more of us are at home surfing the net, we have been using this technology with overseas buyers for years.
