Belle Property Wheeler Heights
The start of a new year brings new beginnings and heartfelt resolutions, and I imagine this rings true given the circumstances we’ve found ourselves in over the holiday period. Many of us have found the time to think and re-evaluate our situation. We all know that the last 12 months have been more than challenging on many fronts, but it has brought change and with change comes many positives. We have learned to adapt and be grateful, and some of us have come out looking at life a little differently. If we look to the past, we can see that many decades are periods of time where society has notably changed. From the year 2000 onwards, technology brought major advancements and most have been caught up in the rat race of being busy. The pandemic has now forced us to have far more respect for our homes and given us a chance to look at life with a new perspective and realignment. Our home is not just base camp for our busy lives, it is a space in which we spend more time - we work from home, entertain from home, and feel safe at home. In the last quarter of 2020, we saw almost double the number of buyers considering Wheeler Height, Cromer, Narraweena, & Beacon Hill as a place to live. The demand from out of area buyers has never been greater. The common theme among them and the drive behind the motivation to relocate is due to the fact that as a collective we are now working from home for the majority of the week which is negating the need to commute to the city. Lifestyle is now more important than convenience. I believe we must also be realistic and acknowledge there will be challenges ahead for our economy and some businesses, but at least we know we are heading into a post-vaccine world in 2021.The stable economic environment and low interest rates have also paved the way for Sydney’s Northern Beaches property market to remain buoyant. Based on the data we have collected Wheeler Heights houses had an average sale price of $1,685,302 in 2020. I am personally very proud to say that I purchased a property in Cromer in 2020 and think it’s a fantastic area for families. For many years, this part of the Northern Beaches has been a low-key suburb, and my team and I have worked incredibly hard to lift the tone of how a property is marketed in the suburb with respect to strategy, marketing and influencing buyer behaviour. If we can assist you with your real estate needs, we would be thrilled to help you, whatever your timeline. Please reach out when you are ready to chat. Wishing everyone a healthy, happy, and rewarding year ahead - bring on 2021! Kind regards, Nick Duchatel and Team 2020 REVIEW Wheeler Heights
