Euro 2024 | A Fan's Perspective. It's 4am, and I have just witnessed a fellow Italian football supporter throw their Margherita pizza at the TV screen (we are emotional people). This is just after a very embarrassing Italian performance against the Swiss national team in Euro 2024. Thus, the reigning Euro Champions bow out of the tournament in the Round of 16. It’s been an interesting tournament thus far, with several of the lesser European teams causing some considerable upsets. As a matter of fact, the ‘own goal’ is the outright top goal scorer so far at Euro 2024, with seven own goals solely in the group stages. It seems even the most popular and competitive sport in the world is not as predictable as it should be in theory. As a result, I have booked my ticket to Europe for Christmas. I hope to meet with the Italian Football Federation to give some advice on how to improve their next performance in the World Cup and perhaps offer some tips on how best to invest in the Sydney property market.
