Welcome to Belle Vie
Women. We are often our own worst enemy,
comparing ourselves to others and wonder-
ing if we measure up. Have you caught your-
self wondering “should I be thinner, taller,
smarter, earn more, work less, be a better
mother/partner/daughter/friend?”
In this social media age, we compare our be-
hind-the-scenes to everybody else’s highlight
reel. But how often do we stop and wonder
whether someone’s perfect Facebook life isn’t
quite what it seems?
Whether you’re single, married, retired,
young or old, a working mum or stay-at-
home mum, a business woman or student –
the fact is, we’re all in this together. Everyone
has their own problems, insecurities, worries
and fears.
But what an amazing world it would be if we
resolved to build each other up. To be kind.
To support each other.
This magazine aims to do that.
Belle Vie celebrates the women in our own
community, from all walks of life. It is a plat-
form for women of all ages to engage and
connect. It is created by women, for women
and aims to build a sense of community.
We also want to have fun! We want to enter-
tain you, amuse you
and occasionally chal-
lenge you.
