Crows Nest
CROWS NEST MARKET UPDATE CHRIS DAVIES YOUR LOCAL CROWS NEST SPECIALIST It’s testament to the attraction that Crows Nest brings that we’ve had record attendance levels attending our opens this year, on average 100+ groups and we’ve sold every property in Crows Nest this year either on auction day or more recently prior to auction. Looking ahead, the general view in the industry is positive for real estate in 2021, and if the past three months have shown in our office, where we have recorded back to back record months in sales, we are very much expecting and hoping for the same next year. As a local resident myself, I understand when I hear owners say that they have no plans on moving, as they love Crows Nest so much! However, if you do have plans to move or have any questions property related, I’d welcome the opportunity to help. Please get in touch anytime, and I look forward to seeing you around the neighbourhood. Chris Davies | Sales Executive 0401 429 898 | chris.davies@belleproperty.com What a year 2020 has been! Considering the challenges throughout the year, real estate in Crows Nest and the Lower North Shore has held up very well. The median house price in Crows Nest has actually increased by 13%, which makes up for the drop we saw in 2019. Apartments have also fared well seeing a similar rise in the median price, stock levels have been much lower than in previous years. There have been less larger developments and more smaller boutique complex’s appearing, which has helped push up the median price on apartments. A contributing factor for the increases is the high demand of buyers we are meeting wanting to live in Crows Nest. With the future train station, village feel and great access to neighbouring suburbs, Crows Nest is very much a sought-after suburb, recently holding on to the No. 1 ranking in the Urban Index most liveable suburb.
