Pat’s education night line-up is looking great and Dale Neill, our first judge of the year, told us he was very impressed we kicked off our monthly competitions with a really challenging topic. We’ve set the bar high! On March 14 the club will be participating in the Fremantle Ports Paint the Port Day at B Shed. Please come on down at some time after 12.30pm and be part of the photography activity we will be running. More information will be sent out via email and Facebook. It provides a great opportunity for club members to get together from 5 pm to photograph the Queen Mary 2 sail away at 6 pm and then grab a bite after. (I watched her sail out of the port this week all lit up and it was magnificent.) There is a maritime themed photography competition and exhibition on the day too, with cash prizes. Digital entries have to be in by 9 March – another opportunity for a club outing!
