The Harcourts Foundation is now a proud supporter of Gumboot Friday (4th November), and kick started its support with a $20,000 donationwhichwas presented toMike King on stage at the New Zealand Leadership Conference. Mike shed light on themental health crisis in NewZealand and about the positive impact this donationwill make to the childrenwho access the free counselling service. Since April 2019 Gumboot Friday has raised over 3million dollars for free kids counselling. This has paid for over 20,000 sessions for just under 10,000 kids. The average cost per session is $138.00. It’s anticipated that money raised by Gumboot Friday over the next 12months will pay for a further 20,000 free sessions before the end of 2023. Harcourts has producedmarketing and communication assets for the network to utilise throughout the campaign. These assets have been released to themarket and are held on H1 under Harcourts Foundation - Gumboot Friday. As a participant’s wellbeing improves through their cancer rehab sessions, these positive benefits impact all aspects of the lives and of their families/whanau too. Harcourts Dancing for Hospicewith ETBRealty On Saturday 20 August, the amazing team fromETB Realty in Rotorua celebrated their annual ‘Harcourts Dancing with Hospice’ event. The sold-out gala evening which raised $130,000 in 2021 saw 20 local personalities take to the dancefloor for one-night-only to put on a spectacular dance-off. The event which is widely supported by the local community and businesses, sees all funds raised donated to Rotorua Community Hospice. Congratulations toWayne Pamment, Erin Kingston and team, we can’t wait to hear howmuch you raise for this incredible charity in 2022. Hospice NewZealand andHarcourts Foundation to continuemeaningful partnership Harcourts Foundation and Hospice NewZealand have renewed their NewZealand Grants Programme for the 6th year in a row.
