arts The evening performance on 14 October played to a packed house once again and was preceded by four short plays by local authors being ‘crash tested.’ A Family Affair by Christopher Owen The play is set in a small village in Wales in Dilys and Brian’s dining room over a Sunday lunch. Dilys and Miriam are sisters who have always been jealous of each other – especially where men are concerned. Brian (Dilys’ husband) is caught in the middle; however, he has a few secrets of his own… Starring: Patrick Brennan as Brian; Miranda Lean as Dilys; and Brigid Gregg as Miriam. Directed by Fran Bosly-Craft. There was a huge BRAVO from the audience and much well- earned applause.
