Bundanoon Sport & Recreation Bundanoon Croquet Club Following a meeting with the Board of the Bundanoon Club Limited and a positive review of its future, your Committee has committed to spending the funds required to renovate both greens. The bottom green will be renovated in November and the top green in early 2018. We will be restricted to one green for a period of approximately 12 weeks, but play will be scheduled on extra days so all members have an equal opportunity for a game. An active campaign is underway to attract new members beginning with a leaflet distribution with the last edition of JCG. We plan to have Croquet Club representatives at local markets, other community functions and to letter drop retirement villages promoting our club. Following the success of our ‘Curry Night’ held at the Bundanoon RSL hall, your Committee is planning other social events for members and their friends. All attending praised the great food prepared by our members. Our Christmas party is scheduled for Sunday 10th December and further details will be provided nearer to the date. See you on the green! Bundanoon Bowling Club Everyone is warmly invited to join in an afternoon of friendly bowling at Bundanoon Bowling Club each Thursday at 1.00 PM. We have recently decided to meet on Thursdays to combine with the Croquet Club in an effort to try to boost numbers and assist The Bundanoon Club Limited as it emerges from a difficult time. The Bundanoon Club will be open on Thursday afternoons with club facilities available to all bowlers and croquet players from 12.30 PM. The Club will stay open for the evening as well. We play in a very friendly and convivial environment, and all new bowlers will be warmly welcomed and assisted with playing. Bowls are available at the club - no charge, casual dress, with flat-soled shoes the only requirement. We will make you welcome and hopefully many of you will be keen to continue each Thursday afternoon. For further information please contact Keith Stratton on 0422829756 or John Witney on 0418206302 Chess Club The group still meets every Friday after 2.00 PM at the Primula Cafe.
