Then before I’d even had time to finally decide where to hang that picture or place the side table, they were already wanting to come back! So I’ll admit that it was slightly out of self-interest that I asked the Bundanoon community to tell me “where do you take your visitors?”, because after you’ve done the obvious… what next? As a relative newcomer, I’m still in the exploration phase and therefore always up for a new discovery. But I thought that others might be interested as well, especially with the holiday season – and its visiting hordes – on our doorstep. So I am very grateful to our contributors who have shared their favourite day trips with the rest of us and to those who used this as an excuse to undertake a day trip and thus provide amusing anecdotes. Thank you also to the regular columnists and to others, behind whose articles are whole events and magnanimous labours that provide the community glue. Many thanks to the JCG Committee too, who took a punt and gave me a go at guest editing. Where else but Bundanoon can you ‘have a go’ at so many new things? I’m not surprised that many of you love showing people the beautiful Morton National Park.
