House Prices July - August 2021 MONTHLY PROPERTY FORECAST What a time we live in! As I write this monthly letter, NSW is currently experiencing our 2nd lockdown and cases are increas- ing daily. With a slow vaccine roll out it seems our exit is coming but not fast enough. After the first lockdown I came away with many positives than negatives. I’m a strong believer that challenging times makes better agents and more resilient people. I’m sure this time it will be the same. In regards to the market, what we saw last lockdown after it subsided, we saw low stock on the market and increased buyer activity. This wave caused a boom and we saw prices jump up from the stagnant prices from the lockdown. After this lockdown ends I’m confident the same will happen. If you have no choice but to sell, its still possible with 1 on 1 inspections are still allowed and virtual auctions. Please be mindful that it may inhibit your property’s potential to achieve the maximum price. If you have the capacity to wait, this is highly recommended.
