HOME TOUR 13 Corkhill Street NORTH FREMANTLE Words MAYA ANDERSON Set on quiet Corkhill Street just by the river, the house is just around the corner from a private walking trail that leads to little Harvey Beach - the sort of secluded riverside spot only locals tend to know about. Current owner Anne fell in love with the home’s natural light, classic design and location, and loves to relax by walking her friend’s Staffordshire terrier (coincidentally also named Harvey) down to the water. Being moments from both the river and the ocean, homes rarely come up for sale in this secluded, sought-after pocket of North Fremantle, and it is not difficult to see why. Nearby is Gilbert Fraser Reserve, transport, North Fremantle Primary School, childcare and a host of cafes, restaurants, shops and entertainment, including Propeller, Ooh Coffee, Mrs Brown, Bruce Town and Left Bank. Anne says she has always enjoyed the easy proximity the neighbourhood has offered, walking to nearby spots to catch up with friends or over the bridge into Fremantle for dinner. HOME TOUR
