Raine and Horne Commercial
QLD - Hervey Bay Dean Cure of Commercial Hervey Bay says the industrial retail markets in the southern Queensland coastal city are starting to pick up. “We are also seeing office space, which was the slowest moving pick up some steam too.” Current average yields in the area are 8% for retail industrial and office assets. “Some assets are achieving yields as much as 10%,” Dean notes. While most of the commercial activity was restricted to the leasing market, Dean says the sale of freehold property has picked up with investors leading the charge. “Most of the investor interest is from self-managed super funds.” 28 - Dean Cure dean.cure@herveybay.rh.com.au
