An opportunity for young families in Penang On the market front, Raine & Horne International Zaki + Partners director Michael Geh told Malaysian real estate portal, The Edge Markets that the residential properties in Jelutong, an affordable suburb in the Malaysian state of Penang, a racts mostly young couples and young families. “We also tend to see people from nearby Bu erworth and Seberang Prai as well as Alor Setar, Kulim and Sungai Petani in Kedah,” he says. “Karpal Singh Drive, Jelutong is connected to the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, which makes it easy to access the hotspots in Penang. It is a relatively new area and has been picking up for the past five years. There is a good demand in the area. Residents in the area tend to frequent this place for dining and recreation.”
