Raine & Horne Foundation The Foundation achieved this charitable landmark by supporting Australians in need, addressing homelessness, protecting the environment, international relief efforts and contributing to the development of rural and regional areas. In 2025, for example, the Foundation increased its financial support by 70% to Rural Aid, a leading rural charity dedicated to supporting farmers, farming families, and rural communities in times of need. Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne, said the $1 million achievement reflects the Group’s long-standing commitment to giving back. “Raine & Horne has been helping Australians realise their property dreams since 1883, and our Foundation carries that same spirit of care into the wider community,” Angus said. “Backed by contributions from our office network, the Foundation unites our people and offices to deliver lasting social impact across Australia and beyond.” Angus added, “Raising $1 million mark highlights the compassion and commitment that define the values within our network, and it’s a major achievement that, as a group, we are very proud to share.” Supporting causes that matter in 2025 In 2025, the Foundation continued to focus on community and rural support through key partners, including Dignity and Rural Aid. It also continued its environmental commitments through its support for Raine Island through its partnership with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and support for endangered turtles on the island. Significantly, Raine Island is named after Captain Thomas Raine, the first European to set foot on the island in 1815. The buccaneering Captain Raine was the father of Tom Raine, co-founder of Raine & Horne.
