40 International Communicator 2025 In 2025, we celebrated ten years of Raine & Horne Dubai on March 25. This decade of success has been defined by growth, resilience, and innovation in one of the world’s most competitive property markets. A decade of growth and new beginnings for Raine & Horne Dubai When we launched in 2015, our team consisted of just 11 people, including our Vice President, Akhil Chimnani, and six agents, four of whom had relocated from Australia. Today, we’re a dynamic group of around 45 professionals spanning residential sales, leasing, holiday homes, and large-scale project marketing. A full-circle return to project marketing in 2025 In many ways, we’ve come full circle. We began in 2015 with a major hospitality project launched when Angus Raine was in Dubai. A year later, in 2016, we successfully marketed a project in Turkey from Dubai, which provided us with valuable cross-border experience and helped establish our reputation in project marketing. As the development market slowed between 2017 and 2020, we broadened our focus to include residential sales, leasing, and holiday homes. Now, we’ve returned to project marketing with renewed energy and stronger capabilities than ever before. Major project wins signal a new era Earlier this year, we successfully sold an entire 42-unit building in Dubai South, and in October, we signed three new project-marketing agreements totalling around 375 units. The first tranche of 104 units will launch in December, with the remaining developments following at twomonth intervals. These projects represent one of our most significant achievements to date and signal an exciting new phase for our Dubai business. Looking back, the Dubai property market has undergone significant evolution since we first opened our doors. The city has grown from about 2.5 million residents to more than 4 million today, and our business has grown right alongside it. A deep understanding of the local market, a long-term commitment to it, and the strength of the Raine & Horne brand have all been critical to that journey. Ten years on, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved — and even more excited about what lies aheadv for Raine & Horne Dubai.
