Allenby Park Between Beacon Hill, Allambie Heights and Brookvale, this is a bit of a gem. Trails wind through the bush, with lookouts and a peaceful vibe. Distance/difficulty: ~2.5 km, 30-60 mins. Moderate with some ups and downs. Dee Why Headland Good views, coastal bushland, a bit more rugged in spots, but very rewarding. Kids who like waves, birds, coastline will love this. Distance/difficulty: ~1.6 km one way, ~45 mins. Some steps and steeper bits. Warriewood Wetlands Boardwalk Ideal if you want something gentle. Boardwalks and formed paths, great for spotting water birds, frogs, and enjoying nature without a major climb. Distance/difficulty: ~2.4 km, ~45-60 mins. Easy. Freshwater Surfing History & Heritage Walk Combines beach, history, gentle walking. Good for a longer outing but you can break it up. Includes steps, beach walking and footpaths. Distance/difficulty: ~3.5 km loop, ~1.5-2 hours. Easy-moderate. Queenscliff to Shelly Beach (Manly) For families who enjoy sea views and relaxed promenading. Beautiful coastline, chance to swim, maybe grab some food along the way. Distance/difficulty: ~4 km return, ~1 hour. Easy, flat, stroller-friendly.
