We built our first house Although founder Zali Reynolds has built a number of homes previously in partnership with Global Village Housing, this is the first home, that we have built, aptly named ‘Legacy’, which has been funded through the Shelter initiative. It is a timely reminder for the Shelter team about the importance of perserverance and working even harder through these tougher times. By helping the wonderful people within our community, we are not only making a di erence locally, but we are also able to help our global community who are facing even tougher times than us. We believe our values stand stronger now, more than ever. ‘Cambodia is a country that has been through a lot of challenges and heartbreak. Education is a big part of the solution! However, without a safe place to call home - everything else can become void. Global Village Housing is a grass-roots, passionate and dedicated local organisation working hard to make a positive change in Cambodia. Living conditions in the remote villages of Cambodia are some of the worst in the world; unsafe, unsanitary and unsure.
