Sydney Cove Property
With the past financial year being like no other, we were just starting to see the dust settle and how companies will treat working arrangements in the future. Since the pandemic started, there has been a heavy focus set around working from home. This has lead to the commercial sector increasing its demand for flexible working spaces, with wellbeing of their staff becoming a real major factor. With the CBD retail sector, it is becoming evident that more businesses have come to the reality that lockdowns may be implemented at any time and there has been a stronger focus on structuring businesses to withstand a lockdown. There is a growing trend towards takeaway dining and home delivery options for food & beverage and online shopping has really taken off with all retailers participating in this space regardless of their size. While both commercial and retail have not seen the resilience of its residential counterpart, we are still seeing some positive trends in the market which leaves some room for growth of the coming years.
