Ray White Bowral
Have the fires impacted your property’s net worth? Australia is our home, and we are devastated by the destruction caused by the recent bushfires. The team at RayWhite Bowral are truly saddened by the impact these fires have had and our sympathies go out to the families and communities who are affected. Understandably, a popular question among our local home owners during this time is what impact these fires may have on the real estate market, and the potential value of their property? Contrary to popular belief, we have noticed no effect on property values and no interruption to the local real estate market either. The Sydney region has been experiencing positive improvements including high attendance at open homes, multiple registered bidders at auctions and record sale prices. Typically, the Southern Highlands follows Sydney market trends, so February/March 2020 is shaping up to be a fantastic time to sell! RayWhite Bowral have created strong links with our Sydney partner offices, to better expose your property and to facilitate early access to Sydney buyers. This allows for a seamless transition of Sydney market trends to our local property owners. Buyers are here (but they have nowhere to go…) The only impact we have noticed is owners are seemingly hesitant to list their property for sale based on the theory that buyers are not actively in the market. Competition is in fact ramping up, as there is high buyer demand with limited stock. Gene Fairbanks Director | Selling Principal Ray White Bowral
