Contrary to much of the media around the property market, business has been brisk for us. We have managed to sell 52 properties from January to October and have another 12 under offer at time of writing. Our notable activity this quarter includes: • A record breaking price in King Street for a light industrial property • A 6.6Ha development site in Michelago sold at auction with service station and motel plus DA approval for 18 block subdivision • 3 off market sales in Bungendore - Forster Street, Chinnery Close & Bluskie Close. Industry data companies announced in October that since March 2022, prices throughout regional NSW have been climbing - specifically confirming the lowest point in the regional NSW market was March 22. None of this is happening at a meteoric pace but it is happening, and our sales activity is proof our area is holding its own. Meanwhile, it’s time to get behind some gift giving. As in previous years, Bungendore Rotary, Bendigo Bank and both the Anglican and Catholic churches are looking to improve our community’s Christmas. If you can donate a gift you can be sure it will brighten someone’s day. Let’s get giving, Palerang! Gifts can be dropped off to Bendigo Bank. The drought and the fires - followed by Covid and now the never ending rain – keep on keeping on as the holidays are nearly here. Ray White Bungendore wishes you and those near and dear to you a safe and happy holiday period. Merry Christmas! WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR MARKET?
