Each year at this time, goals are set for the NewYear. These can be personal or professional and they can be short, mid or long term. 2019 will see our PropertyManagement team leader Linda creating goals for each teammember whether they be from leasing, administration or PropertyManagers. These goals will be related to improving our skills specific to knowledge of the many Acts by which we are bound and elevating the level of service we offer. Lower arrears, lower vacancy rates and innovative leasing methods are at the top of our list for the NewYear. Another initiative that we are about to implement is a Tenant Concierge Service. We believe this will be the first of this kind in the area with our PropertyManagers now meeting the tenants at their new rental property. It will be an opportunity for us to educate them on the care of the rental property, including operating instructions for appliances and tips for preventative maintenance such as topping up a hot water system, cleaning air conditioning filters and ventilating homes to eliminate mould forming. We appreciate that some of our tenants have not rented before and we hope this service will ensure our new residents feel welcomed into their new homes. Additionally we will be undertaking more education whether it be in-house, by taking advantage of our RayWhite training or that provided by the REIQ and RTA.
