How did the idea come about to start your business from a van at Seacrest Park, Sorrento? I had been wanting to open my own business for a while and leasing a brick & mortar shop was extremely expensive, so I looked into food trucks and the flexibility that comes with them is fabulous and it really complimented my business idea, and picking Seacrest park was a bit of a fluke, I google earthed Joondalup shire and found the biggest park. Talk us through how you found the van and the renovation process? It was by chance actually, I had the idea of renovating my own van, but it was a very daunting and time-consuming task - my partner is a carpenter but works FIFO. So, with a little googling I found the company Spitfire who custom build vans. She turned up 2 months later looking as she does. Where did the name Little Nelson come from? I had a dog his name was Roy Nelson, if you have been down to Seacrest or looked onmy insta, you’ll havemet Ray - Roywas Ray’s brother. So, I took the Nelson and the Little, well just because it’s cute. What do you love most about working from Seacrest Park? The DOGGOS!!! and all our human customers are always super happy. We have hit the "'good vibes"' jackpot down at Seacrest. What is the MUST HAVE on your menu? EVERTHING!! but I am biased.......... All of my bowls are amazing, but my Toasties are off the hook, once you try one, you’ll be back for sure. COURTNEY | Owner SEACREST PARK, SORRENTO TUESDAY - FRIDAY 7:30AM - 12PM.
