Welcome to our annual market summary report for the suburbs in the 2261 postcode. Another year done and another phenomenal year in real estate, which many are saying was the best market they have ever seen. And we would agree. Record prices. Extremely low days on market. High auction clearance rates. Droves of buyers through open homes. And nearly every property experiencing competition amongst potential purchasers as the numbers of buyers and low levels of available properties resulted in prices continuing to rise. Mirroring the market of the previous year, once again there was an influx of buyers from Sydney as many sought the quieter, more laid back lifestyle of the Central Coast. Whilst the opening of the NorthConnex has helped contribute to the Central Coast becoming more accessible to Sydney, it is interesting to note however that a large proportion of these buyers seem to be relocating from the northern beaches of Sydney.
