The days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer. Now is my favourite time of year to get the home ready for the holiday season. Start with a spring clean - wash all the windows to let the sun in, wipe out the inside of the cupboards. A top to bottom spruce-up is a great way to start fresh for the warmer months or engage a good cleaner for a once-off deep clean. We have some great contacts! Get your fridge, freezer and pantry summer ready. Summer means ice-blocks, refreshing drinks, fresh fruit and the festive season. Make things easier and discard everything that has gone past its use by date. Take out all the shelves in your fridge, freezer and pantry and clean them. Re-organise and declutter the contents as you refill. Get your air-conditioner serviced. Professionals recommend that air-con units are serviced annually. Spring is the perfect time to do this so that it performs the best it can when you need it most. A service cleans the parts that you cannot reach and can possibly prevent the need for expensive repairs. As we start to spend more time outdoors, now is the time to make your garden look spectacular. Weeding, removing dead plants, adding some colour and a layer of mulch to the garden beds can ensure your yard looks fresh and is easier to maintain for the coming months. Happy nesting!
