What are you waiting for? The RayWhite group has just launched a new Spring campaign for all our sales agents called “What are you waiting for?”. The campaign is a support tool for real estate agents that includes property and market statistics to illustrate the resilience of the Australian property market over the past five months. The campaign is designed to put the question back to you, our customers. Rather than asking ‘if you should sell’, we want to know ‘why would you wait?’ In Brisbane recently the auction clearance rate was 62%, almost double that for the corresponding time last year. Regardless of the difficulties we and the rest of the world are currently dealing with, the property market and particularly here in the inner suburbs of Brisbane remains strong. Now is a great time to sell: strong buyer demand and less properties on the market presents favourable selling conditions for vendors. Now is a great time to buy: interest rates remain at record lows, and banks and lenders remain very supportive of lending for residential property. Now is a great time to invest: record low interest rates and historical stability in bricks and mortar mean now could be a great time to expand the property portfolio.
