Ray White Point Clare

Community grant for Kariong Rural Fire Service Our unique coastal community enjoys the benefits of being surrounded by the natural beauty of both our local waterways and our National Parks. Of course, living in such a close proximity to the Aussie bush comes with it the risk of bushfires. The devastating fires of this summer only serve to highlight the tremendous gratitude we owe to the volunteers who work year round to ensure our community is safe. That is why this year we have presented Kariong Rural Fire Service with a community grant of $1000. Residents of Kariong would be well aware of the presence of their local RFS in managing the national parks that border the suburb. For Point Clare, Tascott, Koolewong and West Gosford residents, Kariong RFS is one of the closest brigades that looks after the bushland directly behind your homes. They work in conjunction with Somersby RFS, The Bays RFS and the other local brigades. We hope that this $1000 grant, whilst only small, can go towards much needed equipment and supplies to help them continue their selfless service to our local community.
