Ray White Upper North Shore
St Ives Suburb Profile If you’re looking for a picture-perfect place, St. Ives is for you: attractive homes sit on large blocks, and towering gum trees provide shade for the quiet streets. Its north and east sides are bordered by sprawling national parks, which only add to the sense of tranquillity, and it’s appeal to nature lovers. The St Ives Village Green is at the heart of the suburb, a popular park which includes sporting fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, play equipment and a skate park. St Ives Shopping Village borders the park and is a bustling centre with over 110 shops. Community spirit is strong with a vast range of clubs and sporting teams to join, and there are a ton of outdoor activities to keep you busy. Amenities like these and fantastic access to excellent public and private schools make it a great place to raise children, so it’s no surprise it’s so popular with families. It’s a diverse area, with a large Jewish, South African and Asian population. Great cafes, coffee and restaurants satisfy foodies, but it’s definitely not the place if you are looking for vibrant nightlife, the lights are out by 10pm! Connectivity is another drawcard, being only 20 minutes to Chatswood, Macquarie University, Gordon railway station and the Northern Beaches.
