DIE CUTTING Diecutting is the process of cutting a piece of paper or material to a custom shape and size. SCORING Scoring refers to the process of making a crease in paper so it will fold easier. Basically, a paper score is a ridge that is indented into the paper where the fold line will occur. SADDLE STITCHING This method of binding is the most frequently requested for collated books. Binding options are governed by the number and stock weight of pages. RAISED UV Like to create a talking point. MGI provides a clear high gloss or foil coating that people just can’t put down. SPOT UV This is a process where you are able to highlight specific areas on book covers or folders by applying a high gloss coating. LAMINATING Lamination options include Gloss, Matt and Velvet soft touch to add quality and protective finish to printed literature. PUR BINDING Perfect binding, where the pages and cover are glued together at the spine and the other three sides of the book are trimmed as needed to give them clean “perfect” edges.
