Combining their love of good coffee, beautiful homewares and healthy raw treats, this duo has created a beautiful space inspired by a combination of Byron Bay’s artistic style and Bali’s laid-back nature. The shop has been open since December 2018, and has quickly become a favourite among Redhead locals, recently expanding to a second mezzanine level just over two weeks ago. The former primary school teacher and business banker both live in Redhead, and their children attend Redhead Primary School.They both love the small and friendly Redhead community, full of local businesses that support each other. Being close to the beach is a massive bonus. Running their own business has allowed a flexibility in the workplace that neither have experienced before.Whilst sometimes stressful, owning and operating Sea Maiden + Villa Lane allows them to express their creative sides, and the locals have responded with many positive comments on the vibe, the space, and the music. When asked about their tips for visiting the Redhead area, both owners replied “come to Sea Maiden!” So, treat yourself to a coffee, something fabulous to eat, and don’t forget to browse the amazing range of homewares in the store!
