Nevertheless technology was at our fingertips and it was great to see so many Zooming in for our first education night in early February. Thanks to our Education Officer Marlene for inviting Manuel Goria to share what it is like to be a Formula 1 photographer. Our first competition night for 2021 was back in the club, and it was great to see so many come along. Craig Franke did the honours as judge and was very generous with his advice and commentary. Club activities for the year have kicked off with a trip to the Speed Dome last week to get some action shots. See page 6. Watch out for more news about activities coming up. If you have any suggestions or ideas you think the committee can follow up on please let us know. Or volunteer to run an activity! Thanks again to Dave Carter, who is stepping down from the committee, for his contribution as competition director over the past couple of years. See you all in March. Happy snapping. The club meets at 7.30pm on the first and third Tuesday of every month (except January) at the North Fremantle Community Hall: 4 Thompson Road, North Fremantle (Harvest Road end).
