FREO GRAPHIC June 2020 11 Club Subjects Fremantle Camera Club Subjects for 2020 Competition nights are held the third Tuesday of each month. The subjects for the monthly competitions have been set by the Committee and are as follows: Please pay careful attention to the definitions. Regular competition categories will resume in August with Open and Subject categories (Digital and Print) replacing Colour and Mono. The August subject category is Landscape – in honour of life member Grace Munday and her legacy to the club. The best landscape image overall (print or digital) will receive the perpetual Grace Munday trophy, presented this year for the first time. SEPTEMBER Mood of The Weather: An image depicting some aspect of the weather e.g. storm [actual or impending] rain, hail, snow, fog or wind. Normal sunny conditions or the aftermath are not acceptable. OCTOBER Self Portrait: A portrait of the photographer in which he/ she has arranged the lighting etc and posed themselves, in part or entirely, within the picture. The shutter release must be under their control i.e. remote, electric or timer etc. Note: creative entries allowed/encouraged, but must include the author in the image. AUGUST The Grace Munday Landscape: A high-quality picturesque view of wild/ natural country scenery where solid portions of the earth are predominant. Although they may feature secondarily it is not a seascape or skyscape. NOVEMBER The Spirit Of Music: A photograph capturing the excitement, rhythm, exhilaration or other qualities of music. Also any photograph of instruments and musicians which is symbolic of such.
