We’re certainly getting used to Zooming, settling into a cosy routine of entertainment ‘Brady Bunch’ style and I’m really pleased to see how many members join in each fortnight. Well, the good news is that the opening of the North Fremantle Community Hall is not far off. The council has sent instructions on hall use which include physical distancing, wiping down everything and anything used (chairs, tables, kitchen, doors) and having all attendees sign a register. This should be manageable as long as everyone chips in to clean and put away their chairs. We think August may be a good month to roll this out so I’ll keep you posted. Coming to the hall will not be obligatory and the committee is planning how to make meetings available online as well. We’re not sure if this will be live streaming via Zoom, or recorded for viewing the following day. We’ll let you know as soon as we have worked that out too! In the meantime stay well and warm. The club meets at 7.30pm on the first and third Tuesday of every month (except January) at the North Fremantle Community Hall: 4 Thompson Road, North Fremantle (Harvest Road end). See the map at the bottom of our home page: www. fremantlecameraclub.com. The first Tuesday is an educational evening and the third Tuesday is competition night. In addition there are social outings organised to improve and share our photography skills. See information in this month’s Freographic and on the website. Guests are always welcome.
