STEP 1: THE INITIAL MEETING The initial meeting will usually take place either on site or at your home. You will meet with Adam to talk through the hopes and dreams you have for your project. This is a great opportunity to ask lots of questions! If you have already engaged an architect or draftsman it can be helpful for them to come along to the initial meeting too. STEP 2: DESIGN AND PLANNING Some of our clients already have plans before they meet us, if this is you then please jump ahead to Step 4. However, if you don’t yet have plans, we can put you in touch with our design and planning a team to create a design you love. Our design team consists of architects, draftsmen and engineers; all of whom have extensive experience working with and who are highly regarded in their field (we only work with the best of the best). We can discuss with you who we think would be best suited to your project based on our initial meeting. We will be right beside you during this process. STEP 3: APPROVAL Once you have a set of plans that you love, it is important to get these lodged with the council so that they can provide you permission for the works. You can either apply for a Development Application (DA) or a Comply & Development Certificate (CDC) through the council but this is something that Adam can guide you through. Keep in mind that this process can take up to 6 months so it is definitely something that needs to be done sooner rather than later. STEP 4: THE QUOTE Once we have a good set of plans, it is full steam ahead! Adam will spend the next few weeks developing a comprehensive quote for your job. This will provide you with an overview of job specific details, inclusions and exclusions. We have included more information about our quote options in the final section of this brochure. 13.
