Burning Palms

33 Burning Palms Surf Life Saving Club Inc. – 86th Annual Report – 2024-2025 Season Both income and expenses for Socials and Functions were higher than 2024 due to the 85th Anniversary of the Clubhouse and a social gathering with Era SLSC. Unfortunately due to inclement weather all events for the RNP Nipper Carnival were cancelled. Other categories of expenditure were similar to last year. Turning to the balance sheet we switched funds out of our bank account to increase the term deposit to $185,000. Our cash at call remains very strong with $63,409 at our balance date. Stock on Hand is $7,226 ($6,081 in 2024) representing apparel and LPG. Buildings at cost increased by $24,000 to $507,735 representing the capitalised amount of the stainless mesh added to the clubhouse. Fixtures and Fittings at cost reduced to $70,355 due to the disposal of the old solar batteries. Plant and Equipment at cost are $214,902 ($153,453 in 2024) due to the purchase of the solar batteries, a new motor and 4 new radios using the BSEF grant.
