Over the past 10 years, the Central Coast’s population has grown from 327,745 in 2013 to an estimated population of 351,934 as of June 2023. Age groups In terms of age groups 21.6% of the population are aged 0-17 years, 49.7% are aged 18-59 years and over 60s make up 28.7% of the population compared with NSW 27.1%. In the years 2001 to 2015 GRP atlined at just under $15,000 million and, except for 2020, has been steadily rising to $19,793% Local employment In the year ending June 2023 there were 140,478 jobs located on the Central Coast Job growth has increased in the last ten years from 112,617 jobs in 2013 to 140,478 in 2023 an increase over the period of 24.7% Employment composition The Household services sector accounted for 43.1% of employment on the Central Coast increasing from 40.5% in the last 10 years.
