CANVAS Sihl 3609 Picasso Canvas is a 370gsm satin single side coated artistic canvas for highest quality graphic arts applications. Due to the special coating, this high-end canvas is suitable for heavy ink-loads and uniform area-prints also in critical colour-tones. The drying time is excellent and the ink-fixation on the surface is optimised in the coating. The coated surface is water-repellant and the light stability with common eco-solvent and solvent inks is excellent. The fixation of the ink to the surface is very strong and the UV-lamps can be run on reduced performance (low) to avoid high temperatures and a possible cracking of the inks. Main applications are for indoor only. Compatible with eco-solvent, solvent and UV curable inks.
