Foreword Over the 40 years I have been in the real estate industry there has been one thing that has never changed. When first time home buyers have entered any of our offices to commence the search for their new home, they are extremely confused about the process and what options they have, including what government grants they may be entitled to. I went in search of books that might assist to demystify the first home buyer process. The books I found were complex and difficult to follow and had loads of unnecessary information for no other reason than making the book larger. So, my hope is that simplifying the first home buyer process in an easy to read and light- hearted approach will provide you with the confidence to get started on your way to securing ‘The Great Australian Dream’ (a house to call home).
