1 INTRODUCTION Introduction Buying your first home is quite a simple task, made to seem so confusing by people wanting to provide advice or simply telling you it is no longer possible. This is not true; it is possible for you to secure your first home. There are things you need to know to make it easy and put you at ease that you can do it. I personally think we should be educated on how the process of saving money, qualifying for a home loan and purchasing a home all works when we go through secondary school. It’s a necessary area of life that so many people know so little about, so it all becomes too confusing because everyone you discuss it with has a different view or opinion.
