Prayer Dying God, we choose to be with you as you suffer, just as you are with us in our suffering. Thank you for being willing to experience both birth and death, helping us to know that you really do understand what it is to be human. We hold before you our violent and broken world, knowing that you have experienced the best and the worst it can offer. Lead us to the path of peace, the path of love, the path of forgiveness, the path of grace. May we, with you, reshape this world, that our children might inherit a new way of being.
