II Providing Clinical Care in the Home This Handbook has been prepared to assist Registered and Enrolled Nurses, case workers, coordinators, care workers, consumers and primary caregivers to understand some basic clinical care tasks and what may be important when undertaking those tasks. The Handbook aims to be a practical guide for providing clinical care in the home and to encourage staff to work within their scope of practice. It encourages a wellness approach and is designed to maximise the abilities of consumers and staff. We hope this Handbook will assist people to provide the best care possible no matter what their skill level or role in care provision.
