Marron Growers Bulletin

AQUAFARMS Aquafarms is a collective of Farmers with their own purging and packing facilities who Aquafarms coordinate the sale of their Marron direct to markets. Small growers can supply these larger growers who on sell them. The savings from not operating large holding facilities and paying wages to operate it are passed back to farmers by Aquafarms. The added revenue to farmers will assist the growth of the industy. GOALS & OBJECTIVES Provide Farmers with a premium price for their high quality and unique product. Help Farmers to work together with the industry to better supply the product. i.e co-ordinate drain downs and trapping. Forge new markets to continually better outcomes for farmers and rural communities. Grow the industry : a more pro table industry will attract further investment. Continue to re ne logistics, packaging, quality control, general knowlege and promotion of the industry. Aquafarms has 9 years experience in cray sh sales and logistics. Aquafarms has almost completed its rst year of weekly supply. We are currently looking for support of farmers who are passionate about preventing our industry further shrinking due to lack of pro tability. Aquafarms are the Farmers representatives.
