I love making people happy, gift giving is my love language and I’m so happy to be doing that on a larger scale. We love supporting other small businesses, local fundraisers and charities and I mean, can you really ever go wrong with a chocolate chip cookie? What inspired you to start your own business? I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart and I’m definitely an anticipation junkie! I love the creative experience and walking to the beat of my own drum - so to speak. I’m also always striving to be time rich , more so than ever when I was getting ready to bring my daughter Bobbie into the world. I just winged it for a while and did what made me happy, which is ultimately making others happy. I’m a huge believer that the little things really are the big things and you can absolutely turn a day around, even change lives, with a loaded chocolate cookie. ___ @doughh.company doughhcompany.com.au From outback roots and the glamour of a PR & marketing career, Megan has come full circle and is now the proud owner of Be-spoke Boutique. What inspired you to take on Be-spoke Boutique? I’m from the tiny outback town of Tottenham NSW. I went off to school and uni and pursued a career in PR & Marketing for around 20 years, before moving to Mudgee. After a stint working remotely, I felt my social media skills waning, and I craved a new project. That’s when I reignited my passion for fashion PR and purchased the boutique. What makes your store unique? Be-spoke gets it uniqueness from the depth of fashion experience that we have, the cool brands that you won’t see everywhere and the excellent customer service we offer. Each item of clothing, accessory or gift you see has been handselected for its brilliance. What’s your most memorable business moment?
